How we handle your information.
Plain-language answers about what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated October 2026.
Who we are
Kingdom Creators is based in the Comox Valley, British Columbia, Canada. For any privacy question or request, use our contact form and choose “A privacy or data request”. We aim to handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other laws that apply to us.
What this website collects
- Contact form: your name, email, organization (optional), the topic and your message.
- Store submission: your contact details and the product information you send for review.
- Creator application: the details you provide in the application form, including contact details, location, professional information, links, preferences and consents.
- No tracking: this site does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and arrange any conversation you've asked for.
- To review Store submissions and Creator applications, follow up with questions, and decide whether to approve them.
- For approved members who asked to be listed: to prepare a public profile using only the fields marked Public on the application, which we confirm with you before publishing.
- To consider members for relevant collaborations, introductions and think tank invitations, in line with the interests they selected.
We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising.
Creator applications in particular
- Public vs. private: fields marked Public may appear on your profile only if you asked for a public listing, consented to publication, and your application is approved. Your email address, phone number, experience and qualifications, and any notes are kept private and are never published unless you explicitly ask.
- Internal network: if you choose not to be listed publicly, we may still keep your details to consider you for collaborations, as you requested.
- Where it's stored: submissions are stored by our form-handling provider (currently Netlify Forms) and copied to our private Google Workspace email and a private Google Sheet we use to track replies. Both providers may store data outside Canada. Access is limited to the people reviewing applications.
- Changes and removal: you can ask us to correct your profile, remove it from the directory, or delete your application at any time. We'll act on removal requests promptly.
- Retention: we delete declined applications and contact messages we no longer need within 12 months. Approved member information is kept while you remain a member and deleted when you leave, unless we need to keep it longer by law.
Membership
Creators memberships are free during launch, and we don't collect payment details. Before any paid membership begins, we'll contact you with the price and how billing works, and you can choose to continue, change tier or leave.
Store submissions and purchases
- Submissions: fields marked Public on the Store submission form appear on a listing only if your product is approved and you've confirmed the listing. Your name and email stay private.
- Purchases: buying opens the seller's own checkout on another website. This site never takes payments or stores card details; the checkout provider's own privacy policy applies there.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, through our contact form. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Creator listings and independence
Kingdom Creators listed in our Creators directory are independent professionals. Information on their profiles is provided by them. Kingdom Creators doesn't guarantee the quality, availability, pricing or outcomes of their services, and any engagement is between you and the member unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
